Kohinoor Mine

The Kohinoor II mine is located in the Ústí nad Labem region, north of the town of Most near the village of Mariánské Radčice. The mining activity consisted in the deep exploitation of a brown coal deposit, which the mine operated in the Lom II mining area and is located in the cadastral areas of Mariánské Radčice, Lom u Most, Libkovice u Most, Konobrže, Růžodol, Dolní Litvínov and Louka u Litvínova.

Regular mining operations at the Kohinoor mine ceased on 31 August 2002. A total of 52 319 850 tonnes of coal were extracted.
